I am not the type of healer who crazy people go to for help, I am the one that normal people need when the world around them is going insane

Hard work

What is hard work and what makes it hard is my current question? The answer I received during meditating was ‘hard work is something you don’t want to do’.  So does that make sense to me. Well yes I think it does in a strange way.

Hard work to me means long hours, no pleasure, no gain or reward at completion, just something we have to do to get a head in life. When we enjoy doing something and can see the rewards we or others will receive from our hard work and long hours somehow it doesn’t seem like hard work.

Life is meant to be a pleasure not a chore so if you find any part of your life hard work what can you do to make the changes.  Some say not a lot and just stick with what they know, whilst others when they realise what is happening and face up to the changes they have to make can put the hard work in to get what they really desire to make something that is hard work fun again.

Life gives us many opportunities and I strongly believe we have free will to guide us, but why choose to go where we do not receive any joy. If your life is hard work, just stop for a moment and think what you would do to take the hard out of hard work.

Grounding Your Energies

People often ask me what grounding is and how do I do it. So thought I would put a few words together. If we don’t keep ourselves grounded to the earth’s energies we can suffer quite badly with such things as forgetfulness, poor choice vocabulary, lack of concentration and insomnia are just a few I can mention. If these sometimes apply to you give this a go and see how you feel afterwards.

The first place I start is to drink plenty of water. Yep just water and nothing else for a good 12 hours. Eat lots of vegetables too if you can. All this does is help to get the inner energies flowing but do suggest that no stressing is allowed if you can’t do this. We never beat ourselves up as all this does is block the energies once more. Try it if you can.

We all have a major chakra points in the palms of our hands and the soles of our feet as well as the most prominent ones running down the body. If we can get these flowing and spinning as they should it clears the blockages and allows the energy flow.

The easiest and fastest way I have found to get myself spinning and flowing correctly is to stand outdoors on a natural surface bare footed. Stone, soil or grass are perfect for the foot chakras. Holding a pebble or stone in each hand works on the hand chakras. Then just relax and feel the universal energy coming down through the crown chakra, past the third eye to the throat chakra. Down to the heart and solar plexus before continuing on to the sacral and base chakras.

To start off with it may take a while before you feel the energies flow but other times it can happen almost instantly. Use your own judgement as to what is right for you and start to listen to what your body needs and all will be well. If you do struggle to clear yourself then search out a healer who can clear your chakras for you either in person or distantly.

Here is the picture of my favourite place I dream of whilst grounding myself.  Enjoy

Blowing your own trumpet

Just lately I have seemed to be surrounded by very confident people who have such strong opinions of themselves and their achievements which then had me thinking. What do you have to do to have such confidence and self belief?

Anyone who knows me will tell you I am terrible at blowing my own trumpet.

Most who visit either for a healing or a reading leave with a smile, an answer and seem happy to return again and again. So I guess I am getting something right. :-)

I very rarely tell anyone when to rebook in and leave it to their own judgement to call again as I believe they know when the time is right. But do suggest they watch how they feel and what is happening or changing and if they feel a difference to contact me.  Some say I should be more pushy, others like it the way it is. What do you think I should do? Would love to hear what you think is the right thing for me.
.
The last thing I want to do is come across as egotistical as, in my opinion, you see so many in the holistic/spiritual field who are far too OTT when it comes to talking about themselves and their gifts.

So what is the difference between confidence and ego? Well I believe someone who is confident in their work and how they can help to change someone’s life for the better do it for the greater good of the other person.  Those who work with ego do it for their own confidence, self belief and gratification and are constantly waiting to hear how wonderful THEY are.

It is a very fine line between the two and we are all different with individual beliefs but I know which I prefer. It is an honour for me to work the way I do and share my gifts with everyone. 🎊💟🎁

Being Normal -What is That?

Well the weekend has rolled around again and it has been a busy one so far and it is only Saturday afternoon.

Friday evening was spent with female friends enjoying their company, being a little silly and having a couple of drinks whilst sharing food and chocolate. During the evening photos were taken and placed on social media sights for all to see. Nothing wrong with that in my book and lots of us do it, that’s_what keeps these sights going. People wanting to see that we are normal, have a life and enjoy living in our own way.  Today I have received a message from someone who does not know me, has never met me, and never will meet me telling me I can’t be a good reiki and crystal healer as I drink alcohol. Apparently this messes with the natural energies and I will be poisoning my clients.

All I will say is I have deleted this message and will not let it upset me. Yes I do have the odd drink. I eat meat too and have no intention of ever becoming a vegan, green tea drinking tree hugger.  I am normal and I am me. Yes I am a vessel for the healing energies when I am working and take this very seriously, but I am also normal and have my vices. Please show me someone who doesn’t enjoy the odd treat every now and again.  Nobody can tell me they are so perfect that they have the right to criticise any one else.  And can I say I have nothing against vegan, green tea drinking tree huggers before anyone else decides to message me.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend. I know I will

Choices

Where do I start with how this week is progressing along. All I can say is I have never been aware of how many choices I have and decisions to make. Does anyone else notice this?

It is only Tuesday and the little things in my life seem to be taking up so much head space, which leaves little room for the bigger things that need thinking about. Today I seem to have been in demand by others who have wanted my advice, yes, I feel honoured that people know they can come to me, but I have had to make so many choices. Do I tell them exactly what I think? How do I word it? What tone of voice do I use? Am I blunt or am I subtle? Do I listen or do I speak? One person I do know I most upset but sometimes the word no is enough to upset some. Sadly in this instance I cannot offer anymore and it’s time for her to move on to another mentor. My advice and  best intentions wasn’t good enough for her sadly.

And, then what about the easy things. Do I wear my hair up or down? Is it a shower or a bathe? Which colour jeans? Which top ? Which crystal to wear for myself? Which crystals are recommended for others too wear. And it goes on and on. So much so that I finally said enough is enough. No more choices.

Where do you think our choices come from? Is it ourselves that bring this forward or someone or something the presents these situations and opportunities?

Some of the choices I have had to made this week have meant that the answer has been found in my gut instinct or sixth sense. Others have been my common sense or head/heart combination. At this moment in time I am not sure which sense is the stronger one.

So I will leave you to contemplate on the type of choices you have made and still have to make. Remember if it feels right to you then you are making the right choice for you. 💪Be strong

Synchronicity

What exactly is synchronicity? I keep hearing this word crop up in every day conversation and wondered if we really know what it means. Sometimes when we hear a word repeated it is because it is just a buzz word of the moment, or something we need to take note of.

With this in mind I have been asking what others around me think. One lady I have known for a while and thought I knew quite well told me she doesn’t believe in synchronicity or fate. She believes in coincidence. This then got me thinking what is the difference as I believed they were all about  the same thing. Most have the same idea I did.

The dictionary tells me synchronicity is when something happens at the same time.

Twice one morning, within the space of 10 minutes, I asked my husband a question at the exact same time he was going to ask me the exact same question. I have to add here it does unnerve him when I do this and it happens quite often between us.

Yesterday a lady asked if she could book in for a quick tarot reading as as she had an easy question to ask. When I packed my bag for the days work that morning I wasn’t going to take a deck as thought I should have a day off for once. But, something made me go choose a deck at the last minute. Which I did and, thank goodness I did, otherwise the poor lady would have had to wait. Is this a coincidence, fate or all 3.

Today I was in the right place at the right time to be able to hold a healing session for a person I have worked with previously who just happened to be passing and had had a seriously stressful week at work. All they requested was a crystal healing for deep relaxation.

So which do you think it was? Synchronicity, fate or coincidence that brought us together this afternoon? I personally believe it was all three. We were both in the same place, at the same time and free to connect without any other influences. These are only 3 instances that immediately spring to mind on this Friday night.

Our friend Mr Collins tells me a coincidence is when an event may have been arranged but it wasn’t, it just happened and that fate is something that will happen to you in the future and we have no control over.

So, after discovering what the dictionary’s have to say I guess I have to conclude we are all maybe, partially, correct. No matter what events we are faced with in our lifetime we will always have control over some things but definitely not over everything.

Would love to know what you think and does synchronicity exist in your life. I sure believe it does in mine.

This Weekend

Isn’t it great when we think we know what we have planned for the weekend and it all gets changed at the last minute. As anyone who works with energies of any type will agree, energy is forever changing and evolving so that life is able to flow and move forward  when we learn to be in the same mode. The more we try to stay still and hang on to what we have the harder life will be.

I have had a sad message that told me of a passing this weekend. This isn’t anyone I personally knew but felt I did as every time his sister came for a tarot reading she always asked how long does he have left, can the cards tell me? Now normally I would try to skirt around such a question as I strongly believe everyone has free will to decide when it right for them and no one has an input into this. But for some reason I felt they had a close relationship and it was helping her to prepare to move on with her life when the inevitable happened.  She has thanked me for being wrong, yes that is a first, as the prediction was out by approximately a month. As you can imagine she is pleased that the whole family had that extra time to enjoy together. He is now out of his agonising pain and the family is able to look back at his time here on earth with a smile. And to be honest that makes me smile.

Talking of moving on I better get my skates on as I do have a busy day doing housey things and preparing for sharing the platform at Wakefield spiritualist church this evening with the lovely Val Trainer. Have a great day everyone 😸
